Edie Housel moved with her husband (Kevin) and son (Joshua) from Pennsylvania to Florida in 1996 and to Vero Beach in 2005. She feels blessed with the opportunity and calling to apply her business education and experience to full-time service in the church.
Edie earned her bachelors degree in Aviation Management/Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. Although she came to Florida on a Wagon Train, she’s really NOT quite that old. She does bring over 25 years experience in the field of business and finance. For the most recent 15 years prior to joining CBTS, she was an Accountant at the Orlando International Airport, Business Manager for a Juvenile Rehabilitation Program and progressed through Auditor, Director of Sales and Front Office Manager for a Hotel.
More personally, Edie grew up in a Christian home focused around the church, loved going to church camp, and enjoyed teaching Sunday school. She has been a bus driver, soloed a plane, enjoys camping and outdoor activities and awed by the miracles along the way. She has a firm commitment to God, the Church and her family crediting God in leading her safely through the path’s less traveled.
